Keith McReynolds
Keith is the founding Director of Remote Safety Solutions and has a diverse background, with an adventure background derived from working as a guide in Australia and overseas he has dealt with a range of remote incidents within his own adventures. Keith's emergency management and first aid skills are derived from working as Ski Patroller and Rescue Air Crewman for a number of rescue and emergency services. When Keiths not in the office he's on the road traveling with his team to some of Australias most remote and isolated communities delivering a range of courses to better prepare people for any unforeseen incidents they may encounter. -
Hugh Sutherland
Hugh has undertake a certificate III and IV in outdoor recreation at Blue Mountains TAFE specialising in a range or adventure based activities. After completing his Cert IV Hugh has been an adventure guided in the Blue Mountains as well as a facilitator for outdoor education programs throughout NSW

Provide First Aid HLTAID003
Remote Safety Solutions School Aid Courses are designed for those students who are undertaking Outdoor Recreations Programs in remote and isolated environments, such as the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award.
RSS’s Provide First Aid provides learners with the required, skills and knowledge to provide first aid to a casualty time until medical assistance arrives
QUALIFICATION
Learners will gain the following Statement of Attainments upon successful completion of the course;
- HLTAID003 – Provide First Aid
- HLTAID001 Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation
DURATION &N DATE
Course hours are 830am to 400pm on the 12th of August 2020
PRICE
The course fee is (discounted price) $95.00 and includes all training resources. Normal RPP $180.00 (Remote Safety Solutions proudly acknowledges The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award Participants and Award Leaders. Award Participants and Award Leaders are entitled to the above-discounted price only)

ASSESSMENT
This course is 90% practical; learners will be assessed via the pre-course learning and via the practical scenarios throughout the duration of the course. The following assessment tasks are required for this course:
- 50 Multiple-choice questions
- Simulated emergency scenario’s
